Upcoming Weekend Immersions

“In July of 2021, a series of synchronicities brought me to connect with Kali.. a woman of legendary skill and intellect in the disciplines of yin yoga, neuroscience, psychotherapy, and Buddhist tradition. The retreat was called the Anatomy of Trauma, and that weekend changed my entire life.”

“Kali expertly shares her wisdom and working with her has had a powerful impact on my life. The combination of Yin, Buddhism, and Internal Family Systems teachings have helped me restore wholeness and self compassion. A traumatized part of me was frozen and unreachable for over 30 years. Kali helped me gently and lovingly get to know and unfreeze this part of myself. This has helped me reach a new sense of freedom. Kali sees my Buddha nature and walks on my path with me to safely express and explore deeply personal questions. From this work I feel I have reached a new level of peace in my heart.”

Anatomy of Trauma

We must acknowledge that everybody comes to this day, this life, this practice with either recent or ancient wounds.⁣⁣

This training intensive will focus on the facilitation of 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 and 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 processes for trauma awareness, which potentiates our healing both personally and interpersonally.⁣⁣ Drawing from foundational cornerstones of 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐦, Trauma Informed Yoga, Yin Yoga for PTSD, & 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞, we will investigate methods to rest in the immediacy of the moment,  heal distinct parts of the self, and ⁣⁣⁣⁣facilitate a nervous system reconciliation with self.

“so immeasurable was the depth of this experience... it’s hard to find words.”

Yin Yoga Immersions

Essential teachings which intermingle Yin Yoga, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems and Buddhist Psychology.

Mindfulness is an attitude we adopt to lessen our motivations on manipulating the moment.

Yin Yoga allows us to fully inhabit the body, heart, and mind.

Psychological Buddhist contemplation allows us to garner rich insights into ourselves and our relationships.

When we include all three in our practice on a regular basis, we learn to more easily come home to ourselves.

May these offerings realign our clarity of mind and ease of being, leaving us enlivened, and more inwardly connected.

“I took a workshop with Kali on Yin & Mindfulness Methods. I’ve been teaching yoga for 20 years and practicing for much longer. This is the best yin class I’ve ever attended”

Yin & Heart Methods (Divine Abodes)

A weekend container to focus on recovering from interpersonal trauma and loss, grief and sorrow- AND the cultivation of deep joy, benevolence, forgiveness & compassion. These attributes stem from balanced Fire Element, which courses Qi through none other than the heart meridian.

Together as Sangha, we will investigate the heart.

*This is a perfect setting to bring an intimate partner or member of your soul tribe for deep relational work.

”All I have to say is I feel fresh, new and loved by myself, the earth and my loved ones as I see myself clearly and see them clearly. After the first day on retreat with her, I signed up for another training with Kali, can't wait!”

Spring Yintensive

Often after the heaviness or darkness of winter, it can feel difficult to muster up the motivation for meaningful and transformational spiritual practice. For teachers and healers, our inspiration and energy can feel dulled.

We’ll come together as Sangha (spiritual family) to be held by the ancient teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine (5 Element Theory) and Vajrayana Buddhism. This unique 20hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training will also establish essential foundations for you in  Yin & Restorative Yoga. Together we will uplevel our mindfulness practice field, out teaching life and offerings, and our dedication to evolution.
